Edward Folk Presents at Beloit College International Symposium Day

Edward Folk of Lebanon, Illinois presented research on "An Innocent Abroad: The Oscillating Modernization of Turkey" at the 11th Annual Beloit College International Symposium Day on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Folk is majoring in biological chemistry.

The International Symposium celebrates Beloit College as an international college. In this eleventh annual event, 54 student presenters and 43 faculty sponsors and moderators directly participated as Beloit students shared their international studies with the community.

Beloit College is a residential, liberal arts college offering 40 majors to its 1,250 students. Located 90 miles northwest of Chicago, Beloit is one of the nation's most international colleges, drawing students from 41 nations as well as 49 states.
